With work, play, having another kid, managing a 3.5 year old. Lots of stuff going on over here. We added Joshua to our family on 9/19, two weeks early! He was 8lbs, 7oz, so I am glad that he came a little early. We've been getting adjusted to having a baby again and what it is like to be a family of four. I had ten weeks off of work; since then Dan has been working at home and taking care of Josh. The impact of being two full-time work outside the home parents will hit us in another week when Dan goes back to working onsite and Josh starts daycare with Julia.
We've been having lots of fun (don't listen to what my brother said about his visit here last weekend---my kids are good). Julia was a princess for Halloween and Josh was a baby. We decorated a tree and cookies for Christmas. We were up in PA for Christmas morning, but then went down to Baltimore later in the day and spent a few days down there. My brother Tom came to visit on his way back to NY from KY. I was able to take almost 2 weeks off of work, which was nice. But I finally understand the line "Mom and Dad can hardly wait for school to start again" from "The Most Wonderful time of the Year". In fact, if you listen to the Perry Como version, you can almost hear the weariness in his voice as he sings that line.
Enjoy the pictures!
